Lawn bowls has always been an integral part of sporting life at Everglades Country Club, since its inception. The Men's and Ladies' Bowls Section celebrated their 50th anniversaries in September 2007.
Everglades Country Club has two grass greens and one carpet synthetic green. Both the Men's and Ladies sections enter teams in the District Pennants competition and also conduct Championship events. However on most days of the week social bowls events are conducted, some of them particularly aimed at beginner bowlers.
Fully accredited bowls coaches are available, at mutually convenient times, to offer assistance and advice to both new and experienced bowlers. Just contact the club to arrange an appointment.
Visiting bowlers are made very welcome (either as individuals or organised groups), to social games or to the numerous tournaments conducted throughout the year. Corporate days are also catered for, and contact should be made with the Functions Co-ordinator to make arrangements.
