Members and visitors are expected to respect the dress code on the Golf Course, the Bowling Greens and in the Clubhouse at all times. Anyone in breach of the code, regardless of prior booking arrangements, may be refused access to club facilities.
BOWLS
Footwear
- Covered flat soled shoes with socks. No hard ridges or ripple soles.
- Bare feet or socks are NOT permitted.
Clothing
- Sleeve shirt.
- Trousers or shorts - no denim. Shorts must not be shorter than mid thigh.
- Hat recommended
- No singlet tops or midriffs
- No football jerseys with numbers
GOLF
Footwear
- Everglades is a 'soft spike' club. Golf shoes with metal spikes are not permitted at any time.
- Caddies or people accompanying players on the course must at all times wear appropriate footware.
Clothing
- Clothing must be neat, tidy and clean.
- Men - Trousers and shorts must be tailored. Shirts must have collars and be tucked in at all times. Turtle neck or skivvies with rolled collars are permitted. Short or long sports socks, predominantly white in colour, must be worn with shorts. If long socks are worn they must be worn 'up' at all times.
- Women - Golf tops or shirts with or without collars. Shirts no longer than hip length worn over shorts, skirts, long or three quarter pants.
The following are NOT permitted on the course:
- Men - Track pants, football shorts, boardshorts and 'stubbie' type shorts, football shirts or shirts displaying advertising material (other than manufacturer's logo or club logo).
- Women - Sun tops (less than 4cm or 1.5" shoulder width), singlets, bare midriff or track suits. Brief bike, gym or running shorts.
- General - Bare feet, work boots, thongs, scuffs, or shoes with ripple type soles or high heels.
These restrictions also apply to Sundays and public holidays.
CLUBHOUSE
Appearance must be neat and tidy at all times.
The following is NOT permitted in the clubhouse:
Footwear
- Rubber thongs (after 8.00pm)
- Bare feet
- Work boots
Clothing
- Clothing with offensive wording displayed
- Singlet tops or football jerseys with numbers
- Training apparel
- Swimwear
- Men's hats
- Bike Shorts
- Overalls
- Ripped, torn or soiled garments
- Midriffs
- Leotards
