What do you need to do to start playing Bowls

Simply ask at Reception Desk or phone the Club on 4341 1866.

The Staff will take your contact details and a Bowls coach will contact you within 48 hours.
One of the Coaches will arrange for you to come to the Club and teach you how to play the game of Bowls. You will also be shown how to register to play and be introduced to the organiser of the day.

The only equipment that you need to get started is flat sole shoes.

What equipment do you need to start playing Bowls?

All you need to get started is some shoes with a flat sole and a desire to have fun.
While you are being coached the Club will lend you some bowls, and the Coach will  help you acquire second hand bowls or advise you where you can purchase new bowls.

What Social bowls are available?

It's social bowls that is mostly played at Everglades.
There are Ladies social days and Men's social days and as many social days for both men and women
which are ideal for couples who like to play together.

What competitive bowls are available?

Both the Ladies and Men's Bowls sections conduct Club Championships and enter teams into the District Pennant competitions.
As a members of the Everglades Bowls section you can enter in the District Championships and progress to State Championships.
Additionally the Everglades Bowls Tournament Committee conducts tournaments on most long weekends playing for worthwhile prize money.
